My Problem With the Kratom Ban: Follow the Money, Then Follow the People

I want to make something very clear before I say anything else:

I take kratom. I support adults being able to use kratom. And I don't believe kratom should be banned.

That's my opinion.

I'm not claiming that every dose of every kratom product is harmless, and I'm not claiming that somebody can't abuse it. Of course they can. People can abuse damn near anything. You can drink yourself to death. You can eat yourself to death. You can take prescription drugs exactly as prescribed and still have complications.

That doesn't give the government the right to decide that adults aren't allowed to make their own choices.

My body. My choice.

And that's why what's happening with 7-OH bothers me so much.

Because when I started looking into this, I didn't just see a debate about pharmacology or public health. I saw money, competing businesses, political access and a regulatory decision that appears to benefit one part of the kratom industry while hurting another.

And that's where I think people need to start asking questions.

The money is the part I can't ignore

One of the most striking facts I've come across concerns Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Botanic Tonics, the company behind Feel Free.

According to recent reporting, Botanic Tonics donated $1 million to MAHA PAC, a political committee associated with Kennedy's Make America Healthy Again movement. Earlier reporting also identified a $500,000 donation from an LLC associated with Feel Free. �

At the same time, the federal government has moved aggressively against 7-hydroxymitragynine, or 7-OH, a concentrated kratom alkaloid sold by companies competing in the same broader market.

That doesn't automatically prove a quid pro quo.

I want to be fair about that.

Money changing hands is not, by itself, proof that somebody bought a government policy.

But when a company operating in the kratom industry gives enormous sums to a political organization associated with the person whose administration is pursuing restrictions on a competing category of products, I think Americans have every right to ask:

Why?

And I don't think that is a crazy question.

In fact, I'm not the only person asking it. A Senate inquiry launched by Sen. Ron Wyden is examining the relationship between political donations from the kratom industry and the administration's handling of kratom policy. �

That's a documented political question.

And then there's RFK Jr.'s own history

This is another part that I find difficult to reconcile.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has openly discussed his own history of heroin addiction. He has said that he was addicted to heroin for 14 years and has spoken publicly about his recovery through spirituality and 12-step programs. �

And honestly, I respect somebody who survived addiction and came out the other side.

That's not the part I'm criticizing.

The part that bothers me is the apparent willingness to restrict substances that some people use as alternatives to traditional opioids.

Kratom users have been telling us for years that they use it to manage pain, replace alcohol, or reduce their reliance on opioids. Reporting has also documented people using kratom in an attempt to get away from fentanyl and other opioids. �

So when I hear someone with a personal history of heroin addiction advocating policies that could eliminate access to substances some people say helped them stay away from street opioids, I can't help but see a contradiction.

If something is helping somebody stay away from heroin or fentanyl, why would our first instinct be to take that option away?

Maybe the answer is that 7-OH genuinely has risks that justify restrictions.

Fine.

Then let's have that debate.

Let's look at the science.

Let's establish potency standards.

Let's require accurate labeling.

Let's regulate manufacturing.

Let's establish age restrictions.

Let's punish companies that misrepresent what's in their products.

But why ban the molecule outright?

Because prohibition doesn't make demand disappear

This is where my concern becomes much more personal.

I'm from Pennsylvania.

And if you've ever looked at what's happened in Kensington, Philadelphia, you know exactly why I'm worried about pushing people toward an underground market.

Kensington has become nationally known for its open-air drug market and its devastating opioid crisis. Philadelphia's own City Council describes the neighborhood as a hub for illicit drug purchases, with people traveling from throughout the region and beyond to obtain drugs there. �

And the street supply isn't exactly getting safer.

Recent research found that the illicit opioid supply in Kensington is erratic and volatile, with fentanyl increasingly being adulterated with other substances, including medetomidine and local anesthetics. �

So here's my concern:

If you take a legal substance away from somebody who is using it because they don't want to buy heroin or fentanyl on the street, where do you think some of those people are going to go?

They're not all going to shrug their shoulders and say, "Well, I guess I'll just stop taking anything."

Some will.

Some won't.

Some will look for something else.

And if the legal alternative disappears, the black market is sitting there waiting for them.

That's how you end up with people buying mystery powders, counterfeit pills, fentanyl and whatever else some guy happens to be selling on a street corner.

I don't want that.

I don't want Pennsylvania turning into another Kensington.

And I don't want somebody who was successfully staying away from dangerous street opioids being told:

"Sorry. The thing you were using legally isn't available anymore. Good luck."

I'm not asking the government to pretend kratom is risk-free

This is important because I don't want anybody twisting what I'm saying.

I am not arguing that everybody should take kratom.

I'm not arguing that 7-OH is completely harmless.

I'm not arguing that people can't become dependent.

I'm not arguing that companies should be allowed to sell whatever concentration they want with cartoon packaging and no warnings.

I'm arguing for adult freedom and rational regulation rather than prohibition.

And I'm especially skeptical when prohibition seems to have winners and losers within the same industry.

Because if you're going to tell me:

"We're banning this dangerous kratom-derived substance to protect Americans,"

then I want to know why another kratom company is simultaneously donating enormous amounts of money to political organizations connected to the administration.

I want to know why some kratom products remain widely available while competitors face dramatically different treatment.

I want to know whether we're actually following the science—or whether we're following the money.

That's the question I'm left with

I don't know what the ultimate explanation is.

Maybe the people making these decisions genuinely believe 7-OH is dangerous and needs to be restricted.

Maybe they believe ordinary kratom is substantially different.

Maybe they think they're preventing another opioid epidemic.

Those are legitimate arguments that deserve to be heard.

But there's another possibility that deserves to be investigated:

Maybe politics and money are influencing which products get protected and which products get destroyed.

And given the documented donations, the political relationships and the competing interests involved, I don't think it's unreasonable for ordinary Americans to demand transparency.

I'm not asking anybody to agree with me.

I'm asking people to look at the facts and ask questions.

Because I've watched what happens when people lose access to something they're dependent on and the only alternatives left are the streets.

I've seen what Kensington looks like.

And as a Pennsylvanian, I don't want to see that model replicated anywhere else.

My position is simple: regulate it if you believe regulation is necessary. Test it. Label it. Set potency standards. Keep it away from children. Go after companies that deceive consumers.

But don't automatically criminalize something millions of adults are using because some people abuse it.

And above all:

Follow the money.

Because when a government tells me that a product is too dangerous for me to possess while money from a competing industry is flowing into political organizations connected to the people making that decision, I'm going to ask some uncomfortable questions.

That's not me being paranoid.

I grew up in a house with a father that was a little ahead of his time with regard to conspiracy theories I didn't understand why he read books by David Ike who at the time was considered to be out kingdoms amended was discounted by mainstream historians the basis of their work is that there have been Phantom Events dynasties and people often repeated throughout historical narratives they claim Revolution was a period of time where powerful and wealthy men took it upon themselves to attempt to reverse engineer the technology that remained from the tartarian Empire probably without actually knowing how to use it safely and properly thus resulting in accidents disasters and deaths Nicola Tesla was born during a lightning storm in the town of smidgen in what is now Croatia on the 10th of that the design he sold the Russians was too basic to W make a working model at the same time he is thought to have been having secret Communications with a German spy named George Floric who was convicted of being a high ranking Nazi officer at the end of the war he then offered the very same information to the US military but 3 days later on the 7th of January 1943 he was found dead in his hotel room and never made the meeting upon his death Tesla's room was almost immediately accessed by several key figures including John G Trump oddly enough Trump and Bliss Fitzgerald went on to research the very same technology for the military along with several other inventions Tesla had been working on Nicola Tesla never married nor did he have any romantic relationships during his 86 years he chose to remain celbrate his entire life and only slept for 3 hours a night he believed in the existence of extraterrestrial life and had a strange fascination with pearls his only flaw appears to be his lack of business but perhaps he just had a little too much faith in human nature one thing is for certain if Nicola Tesla did exist and created these inventions he single-handedly Meet Royal Rife - The Man Who Was SILENCED After Claiming To Cure CANCER!

Dr. Royal Rife’s name should be known in every home. He invented a Beam Ray Machine that cured terminally ill patients from cancer but was silenced because the Cancer Industry was never interested in giving us a cure when there’s so much money available in Big Pharma treatments and for research centers pretending to find cures for cancer.

Dr. Royal Raymond Rife could very well be the father of all holistic cancer research. Rife, born in 1888, was one of the founding pioneers in many of the technologies that are commonly used today and was a main contributor in the field of optics, electronics, radiochemistry, biochemistry, ballistics and aviation.

The Rife machine destroys infectious organisms, viruses, bacteria and fungus and has been used to eliminate 52 different microorganisms including cancer, tuberculosis, strep and leprosy.

Rife began his quest to treat disease with electricity in 1920 after discovering that there were specific electrical characteristics in each disease that he studied. Rife performed thousands of tests when trying to isolate the electrical characteristics of tuberculosis.

Rife began research cancer in 1922, but it took ten years before he was able to isolate the VX Virus, which was a cancer microorganism . A year later, Rife invented the Universal Microscope, which a light source technology that could magnify an object 60,000x its size. Because of his invention, Rife was the first person to see a live virus.

Once Rife was able to determine the main oscillation rate for each organism, he would then try to destroy it with light frequency resonance. Each microbe has a natural frequency that it resonates with, so when Rife increased their natural oscillations, the organism became distorted and disintegrated from structural stresses. More importantly, no surrounding tissue was harmed from these oscillations.

As part of his research in 1934, Rife’s machine “cured” 14 out of 16 terminally ill cancer patients within two months. The remaining two were cured within the following 6 weeks, resulting in a 100% cure rate.

On November 20, 1931, Rife, along with 34 of his most distinguished colleagues in medicine, attended a banquet entitled, “The End to All Diseases”. By 1939, the same group of physicians essentially denied Rife’s existence. After finding a cure for cancer, how is it possible for Rife to be completely ignored by his colleagues and what were the motivating factors behind this?

Here’s the inside story

On the eve of a press conference to announce the results of the 1934 study on Rife’s cancer therapy, Dr Milbank Johnson, former president of the Southern California AMA, was fatally poisoned and his papers “lost”. Also, after a failed attempt by Morris Fishbein to buy the rights to Rife’s healing instrument for the medical drug industry, Rife’s labs were destroyed by arson and sabotage. Dr. Nemes, who had duplicated some of the work of Rife, was killed in a mysterious fire which destroyed all his research papers. A similar fire also destroyed the Burnett Lab, which was validating Rife’s work. Royal Rife himself was killed in 1971 by an “accidental” lethal dose of Valium and alcohol at Grossmont Hospital.

According to Wiki, interest in Rife was revived in the 1980s by author Barry Lynes, who wrote a book about Rife entitled The Cancer Cure That Worked. The book claimed that Rife’s beam ray device could cure cancer, but that all mention of his discoveries was suppressed in the 1930s by a wide-ranging conspiracy headed by the American Medical Association. The American Cancer Society described Lynes’ claims as implausible, noting that the book was written “in a style typical of conspiratorial theorists” and defied any independent verification.

In 1994, the American Cancer Society reported that Rife machines were being sold in a “pyramid-like, multilevel marketing scheme”. A key component in the marketing of Rife devices has been the claim, initially put forward by Rife himself, that the devices were being suppressed by an establishment conspiracy against cancer “cures”.

As stated in the article, Dr. Coldwell: ALL Cancer Can Be Cured in Less Than 12 Weeks, there are over 300 cures for cancer but most doctors are required by law to use surgery, radiation or chemotherapy before any proven holistic measures such as the Rife Machine, THC Oil, etc.. This is but one small example of how beneficial technology and ideas have been suppressed from us, all in the interests of money, greed and eugenics.

The Cancer Industry surely does NOT want a cure. In their eyes, it would cost a lot of people their jobs if a cure was found. It may even devastate the economy, but at what price? The price of a loved one’s health? How can anyone in the cancer industry justify doing what they do if they knew inventions like the Rife machine could cure cancer?

“In the US today, cancer is said to inflict an economic cost of around $895 billion annually.”

It’s a sad world when money takes precedent over compassion for humanity.

Why are great inventions suppressed?

In 1893, Nikola Tesla powered the Chicago World’s Fair on free energy. His financier, J.P. Morgan asked Tesla how he could charge people for this energy. Tesla stated it was free energy that could not be regulated. From that point forward, Morgan suppressed this idea because Morgan believed that “He who controls the energy, controls the power.” As we know, Morgan was one of the founding fathers of the world’s biggest Ponzi scheme, the Federal Reserve.

In the 1980’s Stanley Meyer developed a car that could go from coast to coast in the United States on 22 gallons of water. It could be any water: saltwater, lake water, tap water, compressed snow, etc… Meyer was offered $1 billion from the automotive industry but turned it down because he wanted this invention to go out to the people. Shortly afterwards, he was poisoned to death.

Since the end of the 1800’s, we should have had free electricity from Nikola Tesla.

Since the 1930s, cancer and many other diseases could have been cured by Royal Rife’s machine.

Since the 1980’s we could have been using water powered cars from Stanley Meyer. Are you beginning to see the picture?

Whatever happens there will be no flows of oil coming out of the region in the near future. 

The proposed ideas coming from the US-Israeli side to advance the war are not well grounded to say the least. Their best course of action is to capitulate to Iranian demands.

So, he's [snorts] going to let you know that from his observational studies, he has drawing a connection between the mRNA vaccines and cancer. Now, let's watch. >> thing that people who've been stable with cancer melanoma for years started relapsing at the beginning of '22. And I asked for any reason why this might occurred, and I noticed they'd all been given boosters by their GPs, which I would if they'd asked me, I wouldn't have done that. They were presenting late and they were presenting young. And they found that these patients had all had the booster, too. And they called you know, a red flag. And I called a red flag that just the suspicion that the the vaccine might be involved in the cancer. >> Are there any studies that have linked to the mRNA to cancer? Is there any sort of medical um um process that you can allude to that >> The strongest are the epidemiological studies. And uh the strongest was from Japan, a paper by Gibo and and his colleagues, which just had the raw data. And they noticed that the number of new cancer cases went up with each booster vaccine. >> So, again, this goes against the orthodoxy. And of course we now know that not only medical boards, but the the medical journals are completely corrupted by Big Pharma money and universities as well because they all relied on Dr. Fauci to fund their research and give them billions of dollars. And so now when a guy like this comes out and says this, they all attack him as he's some kind of a quack. But uh just what what's your reaction to when you hear this, Nick? >> Yeah, everything he says is 100% accurate. In fact, now over 70% of the global population was injected with a carcinogenic biological agent. And that biological agent is the mRNA gene transfer injections. We actually now have over 100 studies showing that the mRNA shots induce cancer or promote cancer by a 17 distinct mechanisms. He mentioned T-cell exhaustion was one of them. You also have turning off of tumor suppressor genes P53 and BRCA, hyperinflammation, overall immune dysregulation, um as well as just literally decimating uh multiple organ systems at the same time because it goes everywhere in the body. And you know, it's just a massive list. It's an absolutely massive list of mechanisms, but you know, the epidemiological data is undeniable. We have four major major data sets. And there's two in the United States. The first is the CDC Wonder mortality data. There's been 138,000 excess cancer deaths in the United States since the mRNA shots rolled out. Again, 138,000 more cancer deaths than normal. And then we had the SEER data set come out of the National Cancer Institute a few months ago. They found that multiple major cancers increased in young Americans right after the shots rolled out, including stomach cancer, colon cancer, brain tumors. They were up about 19%. Um so this should not be occurring. And then we had lastly Italian and South Korean studies totaling 8.7 million people combined comparing vaccinated to unvaccinated. And the vaccinated individuals suffered increased risks of seven major cancers, uh colon, prostate, breast, thyroid. Um all these cancers are up in the vaccinated. So, it's undeniable both mechanistically and at the population level. >> So, there's a chemical called SV40. Now, tell me about that and why has this been found inside the COVID vaccine? >> Yeah, SV40 is a portion of the DNA plasmid at the manufacturing process for the Pfizer mRNA injections. Basically, it's there to churn It's there in the DNA plasmid at the factory to churn out the mRNA, to help churn it out. The DNA plasmids are still in the vials. They don't clean them out. They say they do, but they don't. Over 10 studies have found these DNA plasmids, including SV40 segment of the plasmids in the vials. And so, when you inject it into people's arms, it's encased in the lipid nanoparticles. And we know SV40 is a cancer-promoting genetic material. And so, that's going to get into all of your bodily systems and promote cancer. And actually, it's possibly inserting itself into genomes, portions of this DNA plasmid. And we demonstrated that in a peer-reviewed study. We found a segment of this so-called vaccine genetic material fused in chromosome 19 in a stage four turbo bladder cancer patient. And so, you know, it's it's very bad. It's very, very bad. And that's another mechanism of promoting cancer is insertional mutagenesis or genomic integration of non-human synthetic vaccine DNA, um causing uncontrolled cell growth. >> And so, here's the South Korean study you were talking about. One year risk of cancers associated with COVID-19 vaccination, a large population-based cohort study in South Korea, and I'll just read you a couple of lines from this. Uh the uh oxygenetic potential of SARS-CoV-2 has been hypothetically proposed, but real-world data on the COVID-19 infection and vaccination are insufficient. Therefore, this large-scale population-based retrospective study in Seoul, South Korea aimed to estimate the cumulative incidences of subsequent risks of overall cancers 1 year after COVID-19 vaccination. Data from over 8 million individuals between '21 and '23 were obtained from the Korean National Health Insurance database. The participants were categorized into two groups based on their COVID-19 vaccination status. The risks for overall cancers were assessed using multivariable Cox proportional hazard models. And data were expressed as hazard ratios with a 95% confidence uh uh interval. The thyroid cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, and prostate cancer significantly increased at a 1-year post-vaccination. So, I That's a gigantic study, 8 million people. And so, why do you Why do you think that today this is still happening? That they're still giving out free vac co- mRNA COVID vaccines at CVA. What is going I mean, is is our government just that eagle evil or they just that corrupt or both? >> It's both. It's both. And honestly, I don't have a good answers to why they're doing this. It It It's now at this point with all this evidence, it does qualify as a form of homicide. It may be mass negligent. Um we don't know yet. You know, that has to be um kind of rolled out. You know, what what sort of crime is being committed here now because we know it's causing these cancers. We know it's actually caused mass deaths, extreme blood clotting including white fibrous clots. A study came out on that 2 days ago. 25% of corpses have these long anomalous clots in them now. 75% of embalmers are finding them. Um and yeah, so it's criminal. We now we know the FDA literally covered up 25 safety signals in early 2021. Ron Johnson's team found that out with internal communications of between FDA officials. They literally buried a sudden cardiac death signal. It was killing people, children, teenagers, everybody. And they told the scientist that found those signals to cease and desist, right? So, that is a crime to hide uh death signals from a product you're telling millions of people to get. >> And so people have been attacking that professor. And so I asked Grok, please answer my question succinctly that that professor who's the the oncologist, the world-renowned oncologist who's correlating and connecting the the shots with cancer. And I said, please answer my question as succinctly as possible without adding commentary or qualifiers. The people attacking the professor, world-renowned oncologist, were wrong about most things to do with COVID in retrospect, like lockdown, school closures, vaccine stopping transmission and contraction, and social distancing, correct? Grok says, yes. So, there you go. The when you So, when you see someone like that on social media, and then you see him being attacked, remember the people attacking him were wrong about everything to do with COVID. You'll see You'll see posts You'll see posts like this. Uh he's a world-renowned grifting quack. >> [laughter] >> Right? That's what people say. They go uh and so uh I asked I asked Rock. I said, "Is Is this world-renowned oncologist uh really world-renowned? Is he a leader in the field who was well-respected before he spoke out on COVID?" Yes. He is a legitimate, well-respected oncologist with a strong pre-COVID reputation in his field. He's not fringe or unknown. And here's his credentials. He's got great, unbelievable credentials. He's held senior roles in oncology and immunology for decades. And he's discovered of CD4 as a major receptor for HIV. He pioneered work on cancer immunotherapy and vaccine. And he's contributed to the development of something I can't promo promote pronounce which led to him receiving the Joshua Lederberg Prize in 2011. Um I could go on and on. He's got a great reputation. And I said, "Well, is he a quack?" They go, "No, he's not a quack. He's credentialed in career. He's the founding chair of oncology at St. George's University of London since 1991. He's a fellow of respected bodies, the Academy of Medical Sciences, Royal Colleges. Extensive publication record, hundreds of papers he's published, strong citations in immunology and oncology, and contributions to HIV research and cancer immunotherapy. His uh pre-COVID standing, respected in his niche for tumor immunology, cancer vaccines, HIV. Colleagues viewed Colleagues viewed him as a productive clinic clinician scientist. So, of course, after he came out and went against the orthodoxy and told the truth about his findings with cancer and the jabs, now they're calling him a quack. That That's the We've seen this over and over. Not only Dr. McCollough, leader in his field, but anybody the guy who's what's his name who invented the mRNA vaccine technology. We've had him on the show. Dr. Robert Malone, right? Again, the guy who has vaccine patents, the guy who invented the mRNA vaccine platform that was based that that they used the covid shot based on they're not calling him a quack. So anybody who goes against Big Pharma's narrative, they're going to call a quack. I just wanted to show people that that one of the most leading oncologists in the world, they'll also try to dismiss. And what do you think it's going to take, Nick? What do you think it's going to take for regular people to realize that they were lied to about covid on a scale their brains cannot comprehend. >> It's going to take an injury or death in their family from one of these products, I think in the end, particularly for those who have received six, seven, eight, nine mRNA booster shots. While something bad may not have happened to them or somebody they know, the moment something does, that's when most people wake up and that's what I've seen. Now, but it's very sad for people who have taken six booster shots. An autopsy study recently came out and found basically their hearts look like a Swiss cheese under the microscope, not with holes, but with multiple micro scars. And so these shots literally cause little microscopic scars throughout the heart that lead to sudden death. >> Do you think we'll ever have a a person who's you know, what like when Walter Cronkite turned on the Vietnam War, that's what they said it was the end of the Do you think that there'll be someone who's respected in society that comes out and says something about this? That people will finally wake up. >> It's going I think it's going to have to come from the propaganda mainstream media outlets that these individuals religiously watch. It's going to have to come from CNN and all these other outlets, unfortunately. [snorts] And so, but they're captured by Big Pharma, by they're captured by Pfizer. And so, you know, it's going to be very difficult to get that to happen. Uh, but it needs to happen for the sake of public safety. The Miracles of Lourdes: A Place Where Hope and Healing Meet

Nestled in the foothills of the French Pyrenees, the town of Lourdes has become one of the world's most visited pilgrimage destinations. Every year, millions of people travel there seeking healing, peace, and spiritual renewal. While many arrive carrying physical burdens, others come searching for hope after exhausting every other option.

The story of Lourdes began in 1858 with a humble 14-year-old girl named Bernadette Soubirous. Between February and July of that year, Bernadette reported experiencing eighteen apparitions of a beautiful lady in a grotto called Massabielle. During one of these encounters, the lady instructed Bernadette to dig in the ground. At first, only muddy water appeared, but soon a clear spring began flowing. That spring continues to flow today and has become one of the most recognized symbols of Lourdes.

Since that time, countless pilgrims have visited the spring, many believing they have experienced extraordinary physical and spiritual healings.

Although thousands of people have reported remarkable recoveries, the Catholic Church officially recognizes only a small number as miracles. Each recognized case undergoes years—sometimes decades—of medical review and documentation before receiving official recognition.

John Traynor: A Soldier Given Another Chance

One of the most famous Lourdes miracles is that of John Traynor, a British soldier who served during World War I.

During the war, Traynor suffered devastating injuries. He was struck by machine-gun fire, sustained severe head trauma, and was left partially paralyzed. He also developed epilepsy and chronic pain. Multiple surgeries failed to restore his health, and doctors believed his disabilities were permanent.

In 1923, Traynor traveled to Lourdes as part of a pilgrimage for sick veterans. He was brought to the baths and later participated in the Blessed Sacrament procession.

According to eyewitness accounts, he suddenly found strength returning to his body. He stood, walked, and experienced the complete disappearance of his chronic pain and paralysis. Even more remarkable, his epileptic seizures reportedly never returned.

His recovery was carefully documented and eventually recognized as one of Lourdes' most extraordinary miracles.

Anna Santaniello: Healing After Decades of Illness

Anna Santaniello of Italy spent much of her adult life battling severe heart disease.

She experienced repeated episodes of breathlessness, swelling, weakness, and heart failure. Her condition progressively worsened despite years of treatment, leaving her unable to live a normalcy life.

In 1952, at the age of 41, she made a pilgrimage to Lourdes.

After bathing in the Lourdes waters, Anna reported feeling an immediate and overwhelming sense of strength. The symptoms that had plagued her for years disappeared. Doctors who followed her case found that the improvements remained permanent.

After decades of observation and medical review, her healing was officially recognized by the Church as a miracle in 2005.

Sister Bernadette Moriau: Freedom After Nearly Forty Years of Pain

French nun Sister Bernadette Moriau suffered from severe spinal nerve damage that caused intense, constant pain. She required braces, powerful medications, and could walk only with great difficulty.

Her condition lasted for almost four decades.

During a pilgrimage to Lourdes in 2008, she attended a blessing for the sick. Later that evening, she experienced what she described as a profound interior peace.

The next morning, she found she could stand and walk without assistance. She immediately stopped using her braces and medications. Medical examinations over the following years found no explanation for the lasting recovery.

In 2018, her healing became the 70th officially recognized miracle of Lourdes.

The Enduring Legacy of Lourdes

Since Bernadette first uncovered the spring in 1858, more than 200 million pilgrims have visited Lourdes. Thousands have reported healings of body, mind, or spirit.

Many visitors leave without experiencing a dramatic physical cure, yet they often describe finding something equally meaningful: renewed faith, inner peace, forgiveness, and hope.
